ICT (AEWB – ICT) Cases in WB and V4 Countries

 

Event: Final Workshop
Date and place: 09-11 November 2017, Ohrid, Macedonia

 

The projects’ – Collaborative platform for ICT in Agricultural extension in Western Balkan Countries (ICT-AEWBC), Cases in WB and V4 Countries purpose was to raise awareness and implementation of ICT solutions in the WB countries. The last task of the project schedule was to organize a seminar/workshop that took place in Ohrid from the 9-11th of November. For the purpose of evaluating this event the Leading Partner FACE developed evaluation forms/questionnaire. These questionnaires were distributed to the participants on the forum in order to learn their opinions on the latest technologies, how to implement the technologies in their business and their overall opinion for organizing and managing this event.

According to the evaluation forms, here are the following conclusions from the seminar:
 On the 1st question how the topic discussed on the seminar is relevant to your country, the average grade is 4.66, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest grade.
 On the 2nd question how the topic discussed on the seminar is relevant to your job, the average grade is 4.37, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest grade.
 On the 3rd question on the coverage of the topic discussed on the seminar, the average grade is 4.48, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest grade.
 On the 4th question on the level of keynote presentations, the average grade is 4.37, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest grade.
 On the 5th question on the level of country presentations, the average grade is 4.34, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest grade.
 On the 6th question of the moderation and leadership skills, participants gave an average
grade of 4.6, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest grade.
 On the 7th question which was the organization, logistical and administrative support, the average grade is 4.51, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest grade.
 On the final question the overall rating for the seminar, the participants gave an average grade of 4.57, which gives us an indication about the success of the seminar.

In the evaluation forms we had 3 more questions for the participants in which they needed
to express their opinion:
 On the first question the participants needed to state the 3 most important ideas/concepts presented or discussed on the seminar. From the evaluation form you can see that the most important concepts are smart farming, usage of ICT in AE, sharing experiences etc, .
 On the second question for suggestions for improvement participants stated that a visit on a typical farm with usage of ICT is of great importance.
 The third question was for the additional remarks of the participants

From the evaluation forms we have come to the conclusion that the seminar Agricultural extension in Western Balkan Countries (ICT-AEWBC) – ICT cases in WB and V4 countries was successfully organized with the overall rating/grade of 4.5 (1being the lowest and 5 the highest).
